    Frequently Asked Questions

What if I have never played music?

Absolute beginners are completely welcome! Our “Introductory Beginner” level assumes zero prior musical knowledge. We will teach you everything from scratch.

    Can I switch instruments later?

Yes! We understand that finding your interests change. If you decide another instrument suits you better, we can help you transition in the following semester.

How large are the group classes?

We intentionally keep our group classes small, typically between 2 to 8 students. This ensures you receive individual attention while enjoying the dynamic of playing together.

Do I need to own an instrument?

Ideally, yes. However, we do have a limited selection of instruments in our instrument library so that students have the ability to access instruments that interest them.

What is the minimum age for my child to enroll?

We require your child to be seven or more years old. This tends to be a good indicator of both ability to play the instrument (cover the tin whistle holes) as well as maturity.

Are there discounts if I have multiple children or am of need?

Yes! Please reach out and we can discuss what that might look like.
